When deciding on converting from a bathtub to a walk in shower we thoroughly investigated the options including having a general contractor in the mix. Our criteria was quality, having the job done right and the reputation of the product and installer. After looking at the options the Kohler/Luxstone was superior to all the others in all those areas. The sales representative was fully prepared and the presentation professional, organized and laid out all the expectations of what the insulation would entail. The product samples matched up to the online information and it was good to see what the other competitors products were like. There were no heavy sell or pressure tactics, just straight forward information. The installers were on time, very experienced, professional and communicative. The installers did not rush, took their time and when it was all done showed us all the features and cleaned up the entire area including taking all the demoed materials with them. The finished shower exceeded our expectations as it truly looks like the pictures you see on their Website. This is a company that actually stands behind what they say, executes as promised and have followed up with us to see if we are happy with everything and could they be doing anything better. If we had another bathroom to convert, we would not look any further than here to have it done.

We reached out to Kohler and a few other companies regarding a walk in tub to assist with my husband’s joint pain and the possibility that we maybe having one of our elderly parents move in with us. We made our appointment for someone to give us a quote. The salesman from Home Smart that came was very knowledgeable and prepared to answer our questions. We had met with other providers, but from the information provided, the decision was easy. Kohler. Kohler has been in business for a very long long time and has done extensive research on walk in tubs. (FYI - Kohler invented the bathtub). They train each and every installer and once they have passed the training, someone Kohler will go on an install to verify it is installed properly. This is where Smart Home comes in. Once we decided to purchase/install a walk in tub, we were advised we would receive a call on a few days confirming our decision and once confirmed the tub and parts would be ordered and the install would be 4 - 6 weeks. We did receive the call and within 2 weeks we received a call that the tub was in and they wanted to schedule the install for the following week. The installer arrived on time (really!) and worked the entire day without a single stop. We have used the tub several times and it is helping with the joint issues and taking a bath in it is just so relaxing. Home Smart’s customer service is exceptional. The only thing I would change would be the spelling of my first name in their communications with me. (minor). If you are contemplating the purchase of a walk in tub - I would recommend Home Smart’s and Kohler.

We were very happy with the work done by @Sam and Alyssa Maywood who were excellent installers and they went out of their way to make us happy. They both are very professional and very detailed with their work. Dedicated to make their customers happy! They are both great people as well and we would like to give them a five star rating and would love for them to do our next project if we do other updates. They both are really nice and friendly as well and nicely clean up after their work is done. To a job very well done! We appreciate you both and your work! However, our salesman wanted the business and made it sound like it’s a day or two job and also promised things and didn’t deliver nor even check on things after the job was complete. He seemed genuine however was the typical salesman. Bryan we didn’t expect that from you considering the conversations that we had and the money that we paid. Again Alyssa and Sam were absolutely great and deserve a bonus for this job!

Best installation team! Very professional, neat and tidy!

The installers were very professional and polite. There was a little bit of a language barrier. Sometimes we felt they did not understand what we were trying to explain to them. The shower is very nice and easy to clean. The floor was a bit slippery at first until we called, and someone came back and put another finish on the floor which helped. We would recommend Home Smart Industries.

My Kohler walk-in bathtub install went without a hitch, with one minor exception, a one week delay in getting the electrical permit and final inspection. The tub was delivered on the date promised and the removal of the existing bathtub, as well as, the complete installation of the new tub was done in two days as planned. The installation crew was superb, ensuring that the floors were protected, all debris removed, and all drywall was repaired (due to electrical lines installation) and painted. The finishings are top notch, and the bathtub operated flawlessly. We went with Kohler largely because of their lifetime warranty and product quality. If you’re in the market for a walk-in bathtub, I highly recommend that you consider Kohler.

I’m enjoying my new Home Smart shower. The workers were very professional and respectful of my home and me. They put tarps from the front door all the way to the bathroom. They cleaned up everything and took it away.

Jimmy was a very good sales rep making good suggestions for shower insulation to make it more workable for my husband. Juan and his insulation team were terrific. I can’t believe they did it in one day.
