When Russia invaded Ukraine, more than 4 million innocent civilians were forced to flee in fear. Neighboring countries have opened their borders to refugees and organizations are rushing to help the innocent Ukrainians by providing food, water and shelter. In April, the team at Home Smart decided to support the refugees with donations to the Convoy of Hope.
“Convoy of Hope is a non-profit charity that has a stellar reputation. They score extremely high on charitable.com review of how expenses are allocated vs. those in need getting the support. They are already up and running supporting the refuges already all-around Ukraine,” Says Mark Kenyon, Home Smart’s President & CEO.
Convoy of Hope is in 8 neighboring countries providing relief supplies like food, water, hygiene kits and medical supplies. They have now secured a warehouse in Poland that will provide for refugees as well as enable shipments of supplies.
